Founder of the Ontological-Hysteric Theatre, founded in 1968, Richard Foreman has written more than fifty plays since 1967 and has directed and designed numerous of them. Among his plays are Angelface, Total Recall, Eddie Goes to Poetry City, The Mind King, Samuel's Major Problems, I've Got the Shakes, Rhoda in Potatoland, and Deep Trance Behavior in Potatoland. Foreman is today recognized as one of the most notable experimental playwrights in the USA.
